work's a bitch... tons of work piling up, quotations to be done, appointments to be made, winelists to be drawn up, marketing tactics to be invented.

and my new desktop is en route! much thanks to kee teng, someone gotta remind me to give him a treat for all this help. entertainment haven step 1!

and of course, some emotional ranting. i still remember this 1 conversation...

me: if you really think he doesn't stand a chance, just tell him straight la! drag and drag not gonna solve anything right.

xxxxx: no la, i don't wanna hurt his feelings, just ignore him for now, he'll get over it.

not exactly the best of logic isn't it.

so the male counterpart is so unworthy that he doesn't even warrant an answer for all the effort he's putting in (or trying to put in, should he actually get a chance)

somehow i don't understand how treating a person like a plague is gonna make him feel any better.

refusing to provide any form of reaction is just plain rude.

while a quick 'no' is more than enough to get him off your back, most choose the way of ignoring all phone calls, sms, msn or whatever communication method they should choose.

result? a proper friendship is screwed. big time.

just the fact that the target of your choice turns out to have an attitude like that is gonna make some people pissed. just imagine, of the 2 million girls in this freaking country, he picks you. Only to be treated like some fly and ignored. Getting rejected seems so much more a comfort, doesn't it?

we're worth more than that, aren't we?
